The lighting is cool, man! Hard to imagine how you do that for outdoor! It really gives me a eyes-wide-open feeling there. Thumbs up!!

ckwei: I shoot usually after 3pm, when the sun isn't too strong. For my type of shots that quite important cos my flashes can't overpower the bright sunlight. Know the limitations of the equipment and work around it.

QUOTE(diablo69 @ Nov 1 2006, 02:30 AM) Julie Hoi, to be more precise. QUOTE(patricialye @ Nov 1 2006, 10:06 AM) LY 's second pic very nice Yeah I wonder about that too, maybe BigBear can explain abit? My guess is, because of 2 light source (soft light) flashing from both side, that's why you see those shiny feeling on the body. Correct me, bigbear! |

Well, Leng Yein put on some suntan oil, so that helps. Yeah, it depends on lighting... when you have 2 light sources, it does create the highlights as well.

Leng Yein told me a day before this shoot that she's gonna apply sun tan lotion seeing by the time she reach the location it the shoot should start at early/late noon. Apart from protecting her delicate and sensitive skin, the lotion will create some effect for the photography, which she mentioned that it wasn't really reflective after all (the effect she got was merely lighting bouncing off normal skin). If more than 60% of the time she was being shot from the front, I doubt there's little need for the lotion to cover her back.
