very nice exposure.. mind letting me know whats the lens used + exposure/flash/whatever settings used for the last pic of him wearing a suit pls? thanks

Ckwei: I used my Tamron 28-75. Exposure was 1/200 at around f8, used 2 flashes. Tweaked colors in Photoshop to give it some 'pop'.

Trying out some new PP techniques - certainly looks better on a proper white-balanced image than those taken at night. N-joy!

so one of the flash was positioned on the left rite? cos i like the soft lighting effect on the left side of his face was it 5-6pm agak agak the time u took it? really like the effect

What PP technique you used on the first 3 pix?? Hahah, wanna know about those shots taken with flash. Was it direct flash?? With Omni??

ckwei: it was about 5pm... the light on the right of the image was a flash shot into an umbrella, while the light on the left of the image was a flash directed straight at his head. Background was underexposed a bit.

reon: I used some filters (creating a gold reflector), changed opacity a bit, copied a channel and used it as a layer. Added a bit of curves. I think studio pix should show better results. Will keep on trying on this technique, lol.

ckwei: as you can see from this image, the harshness of the direct flash can be seen as compared to that of the umbrella. Shot from same place, only the model moved.
