received my Neo Hybrid case. impressed with the build quality but disappointed with the bulk added to the slim N3.

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Nov 7 2013, 10:06 AM) @HoneyHadger: For the least bulk get a thin TPU case like the Diztronic or a Mercury Jelly. A pure polycarb case CAN be made thinner but it will offer negligible protection so why bother? was previously using the RM15 case below. loved the slimness Best TPU I have EVER used is the Zoogue social case. A shame Zoogue doesn't make them for the Note series though. A hybrid case will always have more bulk in comparison, which is why I'm holding myself from getting a UAG. My N2 is huge enough as it is. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(supermac @ Nov 7 2013, 03:48 PM) hmmmm ... a small question and problem ... You're using TouchWiz or Custom Launcher? This feature is launcher dependent afaikbro , when u receive whatsapp message , the top bar witll have 1 whatsapp icon showing u got incoming msg right , then usually the main icon also should have a "red number showing how many msg unread " ma right ? my main whatsapp icon show no red number (how many unread msg) but only the top bar got small whatsapp icon ... why ah .. |

I tried sharing a pic but the link does not work with the [img] tag. I see that the URL that works is dropboxusercontent. How is that done? I also added honeybadger's and benny888's case pics. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Nov 8 2013, 12:13 AM) Yes after some googling....dropbox made it difficult to do this just a word of advice, do optimize your images before sharing it for direct web viewJust a sample I took with the Note 2 earlier this year. Using this is a little easier than G+ for pic sharing. Note 3 the other day: |

QUOTE(joytest @ Nov 8 2013, 12:31 AM) What browser are you using? I'm on my notebook using Iron browser (a Chrome re-compile stripping out all "send to Google" code) and the page is sized nicely. viewing is fine.. it's the downloading part that hurts. eg. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1695648...1101_185049.jpg is 3.1MB in size I find FF doesn't perform any resize and probably busts the screen width. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Nov 8 2013, 12:39 AM) Errr....well I thought purists want the original file for analysis the browser still needs to pull down all 3.1MB of it before it can be displayed. anyway..it's ok .. just that i'm sort of a fast-loading-web-page purist myself How to web optimize in dropbox? I don't do a lot of image processing so I'm not familiar, and I'm sort of a purist myself so I don't mind the option of being able to download the original. I thought the [img] tag just performs a display in the post, you don't need to download if you don't want? |
