4-5 days of light usage is the norm for Note 2 users, I don't see why Note 3s are facing difficulties in obtaining HALF of it

HTC One doesn't feel sluggish at all, but a dated CPU isn't what I want anyways.

G2 lacks an expandable memory, plus my prior experience with LG phones, no matter how new they are, they do not have resale value. For an example my previous LG Optimus G, got it at $798 at launch around CNY period. Sold it 6 months later, $350. Plus, the amount of people looking for used LG devices are around 1/8th of the people looking for used iPhones.

I think it is good to mention the resale value of 2 other phones, iPhone 4 and Note 2. A 3 year old iPhone 4 32GB can fetch at least $250, typically $300 and higher for newer ones. While a year old Note 2 is still able to fetch around $500.

Not a fan of WP and my previous Lumia 800 had a very bad battery life(imagine an S3 with 100% wakelocks) and limited amount of apps to be installed. Again, resale value is low despite a high price when buying new ($568 on contract) due to lack of demand for it.

I guess the two suitable candidates are Note 3 or 5s. I'm confident that I still can fetch $700 after a year of using for the 5s by then I can get the latest Samsung device with minimal top up ($700 x 2.55 = RM1785) assuming the next Note costs RM2399 at launch.

But i'm signing a new 24mth contract, not enough data plan so i'm only limited to the international G2. N3, huge improvements on the camera and the screen and the specs. If out of contract, I might be finding someone in HK to buy me the Oppo N1
