I can't 100% assure, but below is what I notice:

The box behind should have a KWS Distribution sticker, base on official site, KWS is Malaysia authorise Otter Box distributor.

Screen protector is confirm have as it is mention at official site.

Box in front got QR code which bring you to official site when scan.

How much you bought it?

I think is authentic. Mine also no manual. But got screen protector inside. That is include in package, it is mention at box and website.

I just call the shop, they is no warranty card but they do written 1 year warranty at receipt and that original receipt must keep for any claim.

If the listed authorised retailers shop also selling fake then I not sure what to said already.

I facing those line also at latest Malaysia MJ1 firmware.

I pretty sure this is software issue as I no longer face such line issue after I updates to UK latest firmware MJ7.

As antt00 said, or don't root after flash.

Hong Kong version cannot flash, it fail in error ex4 in odin or bootloop in mobile odin base on user report.

From report at XDA, I notice user that get stuck at certain baseband, seems will never success updates in newer later, probably previous something went wrong on it.

Only 2 version in world. Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and Exynos 5420. Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 is the CPU name of Snapdragon 800. (Snapdragon 800 include CPU and GPU).

Malaysia only selling Snapdragon 800 edition as only 800 edition support LTE and 4K Video.

To be more specific, even though Malaysia only selling Snapdragon edition, but I not sure got people bring in Exynos edition or not.

So if you not plan buying at Samsung store, make sure you are buying N9005 edition.

N9005 is international standard Snapdragon 800 edition, which Malaysia is selling this edition as well.

I find MJ7 actually better for me, at least I get 3 to 4 bar now, previously in MJ4 always 1 to 2 bar.

XDA is back already.

As I know direct updates will change the bootloader and the new bootloader will trip the KNOX if you root it.

In this case, just use CF-Auto-Root since it will trigger the KNOX at the end.

Update to UK latest firmware won't trigger the KNOX, it only get trigger after you root it.

UK new firmware do updates the bootloader where I believe it will trigger the KNOX once root.

You may follow antt00 way, update it without the bootloader.

I read from forum, once bootloader get update, it can't be downgrade anymore even you use back old firmware.

Does't matter to me since I already get trigger and damn happily it is trigger now. No more worrying.
