QUOTE(WiLyi @ Nov 11 2013, 03:29 PM) 1 hour? Shouldn't be that long. Even if you delete the bootloader and repack it, you still need the URDVL process to root it INM before this i'm not using RDLV to root my baby. Just used kingoapp only Anyhow tonight I'm gonna download the ROM and gonna flash it this week. |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 11 2013, 12:54 PM) Done updated to MJ7 and rooted. Knox still 0x0, i got no camera to show that now. Hi bro, mind to share the update MJ7 that u use to flash to ur phone? Maybe u can upload it somewhere. I failed to use URDLV to patch the original .tar.md5 file.Steps i did 1) Download full firmware from sammobile (Hotfile is super slow. 2) URDLV to get the patched system.img.ext4 and cache.img 3) Extract the original rom tar file 4) Delete aboot.mbn 5) Replace system.img.ext4 and cache.img (frankly i dun think cache.img is actually patched but oh well no harm just replacing it) with patched one 6) Repack to tar.md5 using cygwin cos i dun have linux. 7) Flash with odin v3.09 8) Reroot using RDLV Done. QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Nov 11 2013, 03:48 PM) As I know direct updates will change the bootloader and the new bootloader will trip the KNOX if you root it. But i saw there's aboot.mbn in the original file? In this case, just use CF-Auto-Root since it will trigger the KNOX at the end. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2466423 Update to UK latest firmware won't trigger the KNOX, it only get trigger after you root it. |

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Nov 12 2013, 10:34 AM) Still can't say much but what i can see, this rom support for init.d and there's option to turn off camera shutter. Smooth a bit compared to stock and now i'm testing the battery life. Hopefully better than stock as well. |

QUOTE(WiLyi @ Nov 12 2013, 10:46 AM) No, it was 0x0 all this while. Just that we thought flashing through MOP will trip Knox, but as long as you didn't update to MJ3 or later through OTA or PC Odin, flashing through MOP won't trip your Knox counter as of now. maybe Exchange service or Sync service? I really have no idea bro. I frozen all the knox thingy, the hp printer stuff, ant+. Don't recall I freeze anything related to email. |
