Hi,

Is it difficult to install the glas.tr sp? What method did u used?

Based on the review...the metal slate one is not that slippery...probably coz of the material/colour used for the metal slate version..
*
Not that easy to install.. I take the video guide from YouTube...

I'm getting only 100kbps dl speed, about 3+ hours. I started late too, and was doing some other stuff.

Good one. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed.

I just read the details at xda.. It seems like we need to root the phone first on stock row m1j using the rdlv method.. Then only install mod pro and use the above guide..

Hmm.. Itchy to try this...

I'm confused a bit.

I'm on stock bmj1 without any root.

Now since kingoapp is not available to root. So how can i root on mj1.

I plan to used mop once rooted so that can update to UK rom and root together.

I'm on mc today. So plan to try this.

Thanks.

guys,

i more confused now.

using rdlv and urdlv, i need to flash mj7 the UK version or i need to get the mj1 firmware and reflash to make it vega version and then root?

my plan is;

1) root my mj1
2) install mop
3) flash mj7
4) root mj7

all this will no impact on my data, my data still intact.

so, all sifu out there, can someone advise what to go next?

thanks.

Your steps are correct.

For 1, root with URDLV then the rest will follow.
*
so with urdlv, i need to get the same firmware (mj1) from sammobile, then do as per guide.

if that's the case, i think i better do urdlv with mj7 directly.

thanks.

Why you no use MobileOdin..much easier to update.  hmm.gif

How to mobile Odin as I no root yet.

To root need urdlv and rdlv.

To urdlv i need the firmware. So better I flash m7 directly.

That's what I understand so far.

Is my understanding is correct?

Check my previous post #1259..I've put the link for modified MJ1 and de la Vega files for easy rooting.
After rooting you can use MobileOdin to update new firmware.

No prob...but you know how to use all the files..right..?
There still one file missing (our OLB CSC) but you can still proceed with the rooting if you want to.
Oh ya..here design gear Odin 3.09 for flashing tool.

Check with xda or page one here if you wanna more details.

Good luck bro.

since this is patched version of mj1 for udlvr, so i just need to use the pc odin and flash it, then root using rdlvr.

so i can skip udlvr?

correct?

1. Flash the patched MJ1 firmware using pc odin.

2. After the 1st successful reboot, copy the 2 rooting files (1 file & 1 folder) into the root of the internal SD, then reboot

3. After the 2nd reboot, delete the 2 files you copied just in step 2 them reboot

4. Your rom should be rooted. You can download root checker from playstore to check it

thanks ...

Ehh..am oso confuse which is which..urdlv..rdlv. rclxub.gif

hahaha, the urdlvr is for creating patched version.

the rldvr is for rooting after flash the patched version rom ..

i also confused, thats why i decided to go for mj7 directly.

why wasting to reflash same rom mj1.

hahaha, anyway, since this is patched version, i can use mobile odin once i managed to root my phone.

tq again ...

guys,

after rooted on mj7, my mobile odin pro application list is missing icon ..

do i need to reinstall the mop?

that's the only issue so far, the icon is missing, and replace with com.xxx.chainfire.xx something like that .. but when click, it will open the mop without a problem, only then icon is replaced with the text instead of image.

thanks.

Does anyone have a link for MJ7 that isn't hotfile? It keeps insisting I'm downloading.

On another note, the neo hybrid is amazing biggrin.gif Thank you fruity!
*
yeah, hotfile link is slow..

on the neo hybrid, so far im using it, and leave alone the s view cover at home ... thinking of selling my original s view cover (black) used less than 3 months since i have neo hybrid cover already ...
