QUOTE(Eiraku @ Nov 7 2013, 11:42 AM) Snapdragon or not, installing 100 apps that require startups at boot is going to tax you machine for sure, not to mention it will suck battery like no tomorrow. Installing apps do not slow down anything, true. But installing apps that silently run around in the background doing only god knows what all day long (Facebook, I'm talking about you) will. Especially if you have zero tech knowledge, are not rooted and have no idea what "Autostarts" or "Greenify" (or any similar app) does. Which is probably where this entire "Samsung is laggy" crap started anyway. That said, it's true however that "a few apps" will be total waste of the mighty 800 and the 3GB of RAM, but for sure he (she?) is going to enjoy a helluva longer SOT because of that. Power users different ler of course. Hahaha totally agree with you hehehe. Hmm maybe I should put it the other way, he/she should try out the app 1st if he/she found out is not that useful, then delete it later.

I heard it helps for some users.

QUOTE(Gh-x @ Nov 7 2013, 11:59 AM) Hi, i am still having this lost data connection problem even when just connecting to wifi. To regain the data connection i either have to go to flight mode and back or restart the phone. I think this has happened to a lot of users actually, especially S4 LTE and S4 Active users (which incidentally all use Qualcomm stuff). A modem update is probably needed, IF it's not a problem with your own sim card to begin with. That said, I don't see a lot of others here having the same problem (there were a few back in the previous version thread), maybe because everyone is in places with good cellular coverage? Try out the suggestions by the helpful folks above, it might help. This post has been edited by Eiraku: Nov 7 2013, 12:07 PM

QUOTE(PsVitaForLife @ Nov 7 2013, 11:46 AM) LOL bro I think you miss out this great news http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/30/softban...-day-of-use-in/5 inch 1080p screen with snapdragon 800 processor. What's great is 10 minutes fast charge can last for 1 day usage and full charge can last for 3 days. Hahaha Sadly , it wouldnt happen here in malaysia with the same device due to our " advance " coverage . Take Ip5 for example . How many of us have use it before and complain poor battery life ? I get a day or more before i ran out of battery in UK last year but same usage in malaysia , 5 - 6 hours .

I received the Brando Powercase Jacket 3800 mAh yesterday and it works very well providing additional power to the phone. It is basically a clipon case. Assuming it gives you 80% efficiency it is just like having an additional battery to your phone. Only negative it adds a slight bulk to phone ( total width is now 15 mm vs original 8.3mm ) with a total weight of 300gm vs 168 gm without it I quite like the added weight as it gives a more solid feel to the phone Bought it just to test it out The powercase charges the phone approx 25% per hour Might be more practical getting an extra battery instead There is now available another model costing US$4 ( US$38) more that comes with a flip cover
Better and clearer pics are at their website : http://shop.brando.com/Power-Jacket-For-Sa...9c1616d003.html

Thanks unfortunately no...since it only appeared briefly at the notification area...and just when I was about to close my Whatsapp app....it already gone...perhaps I accidentally closed the KNOX notification as well in the process.

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Nov 7 2013, 12:44 PM) Just Knox Notification. Its normal. Why u panic. Sammy has managed to make people hate knox that much lol. So much for their PR budget. It's getting quite ridiculous now really. It's like every other app triggers the Knox notifications lol. Normal users automatically think knox trigger = out of warranty and they panic. Way to make your customers feel good Sammy. Plus if to u wanna get rid of it, you have to root... This post has been edited by Eiraku: Nov 7 2013, 12:53 PM
