QUOTE(mrlonely78 @ Nov 12 2013, 06:26 AM) I just read the details at xda.. It seems like we need to root the phone first on stock row m1j using the rdlv method.. Then only install mod pro and use the above guide.. Yes. As long as you are rooted and still in BMJ1 then you flash to MJ7 using MOPHmm.. Itchy to try this... |

Great job WiLyi for trying out the MOP method and successfully maintain knox at 0x0.
Now anyone wanna do factory reset to see if it trips knox. |

As I hard to believe Chainfire might not even know about his own tool won't trip the knox thingy. Now anyone wanna do factory reset to see if it trips knox. If developer could know about it then we could possibly flash anything without tripping the knox |

Actually Super SU (by chainfire) survival mode had been able to maintain root without tripping knox for people that did OTA updates. Its been reported before. So i believe his MOP uses the same method of injecting SU without going through a custom recovery. I believe MOP everroot and supersu survival mode does not utilize a custom recovery to inject su into the new rom thus not triggering knox. But i also strongly believe this will not work with the new bootloader. If developer could know about it then we could possibly flash anything without tripping the knox |

Haha, not going to do so at the moment. Since the knox is not tempered, I will keep the status for the moment. I wonder if later there is any new firmware being released, are we still able to flash using MOP without tripping the knox.Keep safe with a full set of same stock firmware QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 12 2013, 08:03 AM) Actually Super SU (by chainfire) survival mode had been able to maintain root without tripping knox for people that did OTA updates. But aren't MJ7 comes with new bootloader? I flashed it directly without deleting the bootloader or any repacking wor. |

Then will stay around until something interesting is out for flashing. The 13hours SOT posted by Noobi3 is really tempting. |

Not even from ChainFire himself. |

Kudos to WiLyi for trying it. |

Beside the keyboard getting a darker color theme, the rest is more or less the same. Network signal is getting better on mine. I'm still getting the Email FC issue but this time the FC message appear very fast compared to previous firmware. |
