QUOTE(WiLyi @ Nov 12 2013, 02:31 AM) LOL..I know you can't stand I'm getting only 100kbps dl speed, about 3+ hours. I started late too, and was doing some other stuff.1. Download UK' MJ7 firmware. 2. Extract the tar.md5 (I placed in internal SD - not sure if this make any differences) 3. Open the tar.md5 4. Check i. Everroot ii. Inject SuperSU iii. Inject Mobile Odin 5. Flash Btw, how come you take so long to download the firmware? Good one. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed. |

Yes, I remembered the moment I opened the tar.md5 files, those partitions were set immediately. This post has been edited by WiLyi: Nov 12 2013, 02:59 AM |

There are 2 types of ROMs:then the 1 u guys flashing , mj7 ? it's a custom rom or a offical uk rom ? why flash it , better then the stock out of the box rom ah ? sorry for the noob question lol 1. Stock rooted ROM - everything the same as stock but with root access 2. Custom ROM - where developer will deodexed or themed it with some extra features. But since we have Wanam and Xposed framework, lots of things can be done without flashing custom ROM. As long as you have root access, you can theme and custom your own ROM |

It's an official stock UK ROM, but is a newer version. Supposedly it has some benefits to the camera and modem, so we're gung ho to try.then the 1 u guys flashing , mj7 ? it's a custom rom or a offical uk rom ? why flash it , better then the stock out of the box rom ah ? sorry for the noob question lol |

It seems like we need to root the phone first on stock row m1j using the rdlv method.. Then only install mod pro and use the above guide.. Good one. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed. Hmm.. Itchy to try this... |
