I like Doom n Quake.

Lost Planet is 3rd person most of the time, you cant compare it to an first person shooter.

Holy %$^#&##&$^#! If all those multiplayer mayhem and chaos we played just now isnt a sign of a fcuking good game, i dont what is!!!!

Absolute must buy for me, not only for the multiplayer, but th story single player as well! Cussing , swearing , blood and gore, merciless mutilation and bodily torture, i am in a 150%!

I know i suck at FPSes but the search for that ultimate weapon the Sunbeam and sadistically obliterating everyone on the map is a bloody ego-filling, bloody satisfying feeling.

Those with weak constitution, stay away. Those with high ethical morals, dont come. Those who just want to do bodily harm albeit virtual ones, to your opponents, Prey is here to satisfy that bloodlust.

Just go back from work, got it downloaded early this morning, but had to rush to do HK daily flight. got back, threw everything one corner, and immediately got invited by Marauderz into the multiplayer. And although i've been the "favourite" target as quoted by Yoroi, the whole chaoticness of it all kept me coming back. Damn 3DRealms for pasting that Time limitation, but the full game is less than a week away. Gonna take a bath first (still in my work clothes), then explore the story single player. If still got multiplayer anyone after im back later, please allow me to join, aku rela jadi target practice you all! laugh.gif

Look past the so-called dated graphics, look past the whole retro feel, and you will see why this game delivers bucketloads of fun immediately when you jump onto Live. thumbup.gif

w00t! Order this beast of a game already at DVDboxoffice.com, the LE. No biggie if the order got backordered till the Asian version arrives on our shores, from past experience, they allow ample amount of time, to cancel a pending order.

I should thanks Shumaky for briging this title to my attention. REally didnt expect much from it, and it blew me away! I absolutely love Doom 3, and this ups the ante of what makes Doom 3 a great title, ....the gore!

Brng it ON, bro Thomas!!!! *moons Thomas with his bare naked ass*

Are you psychologically disturbed yet?tongue.gif

Oh yea, that song playing while the aliens abducted them, that song "Reaper", alone is anough to sell me the game. I had fond memories of playing this investigative PC game a few years back which had this song in it. Nice!

Arse-Grilling Day? That's it, no more Mister Naked-Ass guy! It's either Tommy or one of those drunks at the bar as my alterego when i tear your limbs from your virtual bodies in Live!

Bwahahahamauahahahaha....*chokes on his own saliva*!

Nope, i just dont prefer FPSes that breeds a certain amount of fanatism and skill-gaps. It's a sorry scene to see when newbies or those who had very little time to spend on practising (due to other constraints like having a life, and work) gets pummeled helplessly or shamed while the others leave him for the rats to finish off.

Atmospheric FPSes like Doom 3 and Prey promotes a certain level of equality, although there will be a certain amount of skill obtained once you played it enough times. This kind of FPSes are also not extremely punishing if you makes mistakes , get shot once, you drop a certain percentage of health but you still can scurry to the closest health banks/kits to recover.

It's just me, i cant be bothered to spend time perfecting myself in only one particular type of FPS when i'd rather enjoy a broad spectrum of the games that lies within this genre.

Finished Prey on Normal setting, the final levels were horrifying sick! The maniacal crazy laughter of The Keeper had me turing down the volume on the HT, otherwise people would be thinking im keeping a pontianak in my room!

Will be restarting later on the Cherokee setting.

P/s: Doesnt the edifice in while those spider henchmen crawled out look a little too familiar? We already have anus-looking bodypart-spitting walls, but female genitalias? This game is sick!

The game relies heavily on those WTF moments rather than tactical FPSes or horror-heavy FPSes like Doom. Moments like teleporting onto that small moon, only to realise that i is you who had been shrunk down to size, or frantic trackball piloting of the spacecraft in narrow spaces, or those spider dudes disappearing into women "private parts". I got into the groove of things by swearing along with Tommy as well, i like his straight forward emotional outbursts as well, rather than keep-cool-like-gentlemen attitudes in normal FPSes.

Kudos on the story too as well, it provides probably cause and reason behind Cherokees/Native American purported spiritual powers and origins.

Rather than giving scores, what are your other options? I'd say i agree with IGN's score on Prey, it scored 9.0 and it is Outstanding.
