hope u guys can help me.
i have a tdk ie-800. the right side has lost sound. i suspect its the cable. should i: a) replace the 3.5mm plug? or b) recable the whole thing (is this possible? i only see u guys talking abt recabling headphones not iems)
and for either option above, how do i go abt doing that? Who to find? My location is JB/SG.

QUOTE(more2teayap @ Nov 11 2014, 11:07 PM) Depends which part of the cable is damaged, if the part is near the plug, solder another plug to it will do, if it's too far from the plug, recable is the choice, however recabling an IEM is very risky, especially when opening the shell of the IEM. roughly how much is the cost or recabling? freaking thing lasted 1year+ only. zzzzzzz. waste of money. never buying tdk again.
