stock = instruments more obvious DIY = neutrik and canare l4e6s = vocals more obvious (highs become a lot more stronger and a little harsh) This post has been edited by siles1991: Feb 16 2013, 11:46 PM |

QUOTE(malutapimau @ Feb 18 2013, 11:04 AM) ![]() Here you go The reason is that the female mini couldnt fit the cable sleeving and its the only one they had so I had to strip off more of the sleeving and cover it with heatshrink. This post has been edited by siles1991: Feb 18 2013, 12:53 PM |

QUOTE(more2teayap @ Feb 19 2013, 08:42 AM) why dont just strip off the whole thing? Leave it bare, the interior cables are tougher than you think it is. hmmm are they really that tough? will prolly do that for my interconnect This post has been edited by siles1991: Feb 19 2013, 02:34 PM |

QUOTE(dennisyeoh @ Feb 19 2013, 04:17 PM) to fit that thick cable you need a plugs that are at f12 seize and as far as i know the f12 is the cheapest for that size i see...any other cables you can recommend l4e6s are like RM10/meter? I'm looking into Belden but I can't seem to find which model/code number im suppose to find. And where can I find techflex to make sleeving look nicer, and how do i use it?This post has been edited by siles1991: Feb 19 2013, 07:00 PM |

QUOTE(k3lvinNdad @ Feb 19 2013, 10:49 PM) Try to make the connector hole larger...i re-drill the hole for wire to enter to the connector... alright thanks u can try rean 3.5mm female...but u need do some modification... re-drill the hole for wire to enter to the connector can aredy... Also anyone got a guide for making a 3.5mm to 1/8" cable? I've followed a guide on headfi for 3.5mm to 3.5mm but I don't know where to solder for 3.5mm to 1/8". I've decided I don't want use an adapter to connect my headphone to my future amp which only has a 1/8" port. And also xD from the 4 wires of the L4E6S i've been lucky to get left and right wires correctly the first time but I don't think my luck will last that long. What's a way to figure which is left or which is right for the other end instead of resoldering. This post has been edited by siles1991: Feb 20 2013, 12:07 AM |
