canare plugs are really good sounding, it give good soundstage and highs. Quite worth.

im sure they're good but right now im buying a superlux 668b and the cables are faulty so im going to DIY one. Does neutrick,canare etc. have 3.5 female plugs?

is it true they cost like rm20+ each? because thats what I read...

mmm done with my cable and tested with the superlux 668b biggrin.gif stock cable was a lot more smoother and the cable i made was a lot more aggresive, not sure if just me but i can hear big difference.

stock = instruments more obvious
DIY = neutrik and canare l4e6s = vocals more obvious (highs become a lot more stronger and a little harsh)

Here you go happy.gif though I need to find a way to fix the female mini part where some of the wire exposed because i cut my heatshrink too short

The reason is that the female mini couldnt fit the cable sleeving and its the only one they had so I had to strip off more of the sleeving and cover it with heatshrink.

why dont just strip off the whole thing? Leave it bare, the interior cables are tougher than you think it is. smile.gif it will be way more lighter too.
*
hmmm are they really that tough? will prolly do that for my interconnect biggrin.gif!

to fit that thick cable you need a plugs that are at f12 seize and as far as i know the f12 is the cheapest for that size
*
i see...any other cables you can recommend l4e6s are like RM10/meter? I'm looking into Belden but I can't seem to find which model/code number im suppose to find. And where can I find techflex to make sleeving look nicer, and how do i use it?

alright thanks biggrin.gif

Also anyone got a guide for making a 3.5mm to 1/8" cable? I've followed a guide on headfi for 3.5mm to 3.5mm but I don't know where to solder for 3.5mm to 1/8". I've decided I don't want use an adapter to connect my headphone to my future amp which only has a 1/8" port.

And also xD from the 4 wires of the L4E6S i've been lucky to get left and right wires correctly the first time but I don't think my luck will last that long. What's a way to figure which is left or which is right for the other end instead of resoldering.
