NICE ... just now I went hardcore and found a factory that mainly focus on produce 6n OCC cable, one of their interesting product is 6n OCC silver which they mentioned that been reviewed by taiwanese and chinese and verdict is it sounds better than pure silver brows.gif and they are seeking for distributing agent, I tried my luck and left a message but tomorrow will contact them through phone line again smile.gif

I know it's Silver Plated Copper (notice the spelling) biggrin.gif
I would reckon that it would be bright as my first experience of a silver wire (not plated) is in my TT tonearm.
It should be used as part of system tuning, put in the wrong place/system and then you'll suffer the 'treble' fatigue soon enough..

I believe bright sound does/should improved the details but if overdone is more like 'enhanced' details, leaning towards 'artificial'... tongue.gif

QUOTE(PcWork @ Sep 11 2007, 02:51 PM)
from my ear, nothings special
SPC= Silver platted Copper.
it's very fakely bright to my ear.
i don't quite like it. but some people prefer the extra ordinary bright (which mislead to them - detail)

It is written "NEUTRIK"

I also saw a RM17.90 even RM22 NEUTRIK 1/4" jacks.. nice, very nice! but surely
putting in on my 1 meter extension is an overkill..(jacks more expensive than cable) biggrin.gif

Yes the Koss is 1/8" but the cable is also meant for my other headsets.
Since I have 1/8" to 1/4" step-up hence the decision the get the 1/4" female.

BTW, NEUTRIK don't make 1/8" female huh?

Further more this would be my first hand trying to make my own cable, just for the sake of having the experience..
No worry dude, you're still our Cable Master biggrin.gif

BTW, what you think of EST jacks/sockets?

QUOTE(PcWork @ Sep 16 2007, 12:14 AM)
the oem neutrik 1/4" is written REAN on it? or NEutrik?

=P
i though ur koss has 1/8" plug. why u use 1/4" EST famele? instead of 1/8" EST female?
they sell that too at that place.

A surprised developement..
Connecting my KSC75 on the new cable, I found the vocals are sweeter.. however no change in low and hi ends.. extended listening may reveal more...

Biggest surprise was when I connected my stock HD201. Earlier I kinda 'hated' this HD201 coz of it's 'harshed' treble. My own recabled SBC200 sounded better than this HD201!

The vocals has lost its harshness! The bass frequencies (no very deep/low end bass yet)is now begin to show itself.. The harshed treble has some how mellowed down...

How can a 1 meter cable to this to the HD201? Whatever it is, I like it biggrin.gif Looks like I am going to have a great Sunday today..

A recabled HD201 might even be worthwhile to do next. hmm.gif

Yep, that would be one of them or use the multimeter to match one end to another. tongue.gif

QUOTE(yeahs4.1 @ Sep 17 2007, 05:37 PM)
why not you just mark the both ends of the cables before you braid them together? like using marker pen or sticker. you can always remove them after you finish
