can give me the steps? because first time using multimeter haha sorry for the trouble

i try make it as simple as possible.
1)turn your multimeter to 1k ohm.
2)in the starquad cable should be is 2 colour but 1 colour got 2 wires right? let say blue, u put the red tip to 1 end of the cable and black tip to another end of the cable.
3)look at the multimeter:
  i-if multimeter shows value near to 0ohm(depends on your wire and multimeter accuracy), proceed to step 5.
  ii-if multimeter shows value 1k, red tip stay and black tip go to another same colour wire, proceed step 4.
4)if still 1k ohm then something going wrong.Have to re-troubleshoot, cant go step 5.
5)open champagne celebrate.

so i went at went to do a stereo left to right test...if sound come out from both sides does it mean i did it wrong?

and when i use audacity both drivers have sound when only in right channel and no sound in either when in left channel

i don't like the coiled cable, not my cup of tea.. and i don't want long messy cable either, will be looking for a shorter straight cable to improve portability..

looking for a good quality cable here.. things from jalan pasar good quality? sorry i have little to zero knowledge in wire thingy
