why bigass metal plugs?
+ robust + good for outdoor/pro use (roadshow/concert rigs) - overkill if use w/ jacket removed/minimal protection wires (diyer trend) - price why plastic plugs? + low mass/paperweight + good for indoor/normal use + price - unassuming looks/ not fancy/pimping enough hehe which is better? depends on purpose/application,,,,, but the table has turned these few years,,, purists now favored low mass, minimal metal, ultra thin, skinny cables http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/thin/thin.html ----------- malu² lesismo rca IC » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « plugs - Eichmann Bulletplugs cables - 30ga solid core pure copper + Teflon tubing basically its an antidote of mainstream cables-----low mass, skinny, non-braided and non-shielded simplicity d inspirations,,,, http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/47labs6/cables_2.html http://www.cynicalaudio.com/2012/12/47-lab-strotos.html http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/connect...connectors.html This post has been edited by malutapimau: Sep 3 2013, 11:11 AM |

sound quality?
its transparent sounding like theres no cable Ive tested the canare wire as a mini extension cable,,,,,sound remain the same with/without it inbetween so the wire pass my sq test I also tested the est+canare splitter combo, connected to an rca IC, couldn't tell the difference when the ic connected directly/using splitter,,,, what sub why shielded? you experience electrical noise? if moving audio ic away from power source/transmission doesnt work,i dont think shieldedchord will solve it have you try contacted fajar/mega/mitti etc. ask for reseller in your area? most reputable local cable are certified by suruhanjaya tenaga,,,,making hundreds kV industry std wires so------ usb is buffered data transmission, cables wont make a difference, this is one project that depends on ones soldering skill than materials,,,, any generic 4-core wires will do, ~2.50/mtr,,,,all d besh how long? Got a question to ask..noob here.
Why do you guys need to recable your headphones? Does it sounds better?? And where do you guys get your cables and plugs? I tried searching in the google for cables but couldn't find anything.. |
