But now no more and system is much slick and smooth.

any reported identity fraud or credit card stolen from their crm systems ka? brows.gif

seems like they broke their own PDPA without adequate protection against our data in their systems! ohmy.gif

What i meant was that umobile did not inform its customers that their system was down for more than 48 hours already ~ cannot chk why our fon cannot call out, cannot topup [ we have the money to topup] , cannot buy internet packages...........THIS IS REALLY BAD , I HOPE SKMM WILL DO SOMETHING SO THAT OTHER TELCOS WONT DARE TO LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN
*
i never give any hope to skmm, only on special occasion when skmm fined those telcos with dropped call issues thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

by the way, I do not understand what the 7 bucks of access is for, any ideas?
*
1st bill, will consist of 2 subscription charges: 1 month advance charge (next month), another is prorated for current month (in your case, 22 - 30 Apr).

all postpaid telco using charge forward method. the RM28 subscription fee is actually paid for next month, not current month.

current prorated month, 22 - 30 Apr = 8 days out of 30 days in the month of April. So, 8 days / 30 days in April * RM28 = RM7.467 (rounded).

usuallly 1st bill is a shocker, the subsequent month will be normalized.

another problem with umobile is no proration on termination month blink.gif

again, i think they dont do termination proration to prevent fraud/over-utilized by user before bill restart.

The best day to terminate is on the last day of the month, eg for May is 30th or 31st.

yeah, that's what agents on the svc centres told me smile.gif

meaning that the RM28 in the bill is for May's basic commitment, eh? Stupid CS kept insisting the RM7.467 was the amount of calls I made out. doh.gif doh.gif guess now what's left is for me to chase the agent to credit the RM28. Thanks!
*
if got call usage, then can see calll details in the bill wan smile.gif

ur bill screenshot already clearly stated Advance Access Fee = RM28 (next month), Access Fee = RM7.467 how can it be call usage leh? lol

Hi guys, been trying to login into selfcare, requested pin, received but when i try to login, it keeps giving user not found error05. Anyone is facing the same prob?

Btw, anyone knows the ussd code for checking free calls um-um limit? The android app is useful, but im using old sch nokia fon wink.gif need to key in manual code.
*
1st time login to selfcare? if yes, then use the "First Time Login" button. This is to allow the system to enable you for selfcare acess.

for USSD, always start from *118#, then drill the options from there.

[attachmentid=3984077]

until today still no LTE for umobile.
*
each telco have their own coverage mah, totally no dependency wan.

you can go to digi/celcom LTE coverage, but may not have Maxis LTE coverage. same also wat.

in general, there is no nationwide LTE coverage, not even fully cover Klang Valley.

My area 5 minutes walk to KLCC, still no LTE...  middle of KL.
*
that means nothing if umobile doesnt even cover KLCC or even Pavillion or even Low Yat Plaza.

there's only 1 spot in KL with LTE coverage and that is BTS building.

i havent tried how far away from BTS building will have LTE coverage. from monorail? plaza berjaya? imbi plaza? sungai wang? low yat? etc etc. They could even set it up to broadcast inward (in-building coverage) instead of outside.
