According to what you are telling, there are lack of a lot of information
1. Did you put other telco Sims into that modem to try @ bentong?
2. What's exactly the error and what brand is the USB modem , how long did you purchased it
3. You mean when you put the umobile Sims into your phone then it is working well? Then what make you think that that's umobile problem when you are able to use the Sims in your phone

Regarding the modem
1.All digi maxis Celcom including umobile are supplying the same model from either HUAWEI or ZTE, even with umobile logo on it, it is still exactly same as other telco's modem, so it is a very dumb idea to blame umobile just because it's logo printed on the modem. So whenever you found something sucks in your life and you found that made in China is printed on it, you may complain about China till the end of the world.

2. I assume you are not that smart to make clear of that your house @ bentong is having strong connection,you could ask it here POLITELY so I believe there are a lot of forumers are willing to tell you how to check about the coverage, how to make your network reception better.there are lot more possibilities that you having poor connections of network, completely out of coverage is another story like some area @ raub which I would bring a Celcom broadband everytime I back raub. So I couldn't see the problem when I know my area is poor of umobile, I simply don't use it, but 99% of my time staying@ KL umobile is the best network so I continue using it when back to KL.

Think twice before you realize that no 1 is paid to listen your poor complain with such behave because this is only a thread to share information and to help to answer some questions and problems.

there is no UMI40

only umi38 with more call and less data.

actually comparing the new umi30 and old umi28 as below

umi28 = 1gb 50mins 30sms
umi30 = 1.5gb 30 mins no sms

so umi30 (call rate 0.1/min) add 20mins normal call= RM 2, 30sms worth RM2.4

so basically you are paying RM 34.4 for 1.5gb 50 mins 30sms

so 0.5gb = RM 6.4 hehe, worth or not depends your point of view lo

U88 U80 did mention the free call to UMOBILE / to OTHER network

now p50 and p70 free mins is to ALL NETWORK (which is same as prepaid Umi), utilized it first before the free call 30min to umobile

you SHOULD and you MUST check this thread before you going to deal something with the OFFICIAL PERSON IN CHARGE, because we are REAL customers and we care the T&C and the charges a lot more than those who sitting there answer some call, different person telling different story Customer service.

When they try to manipulate it, why they need to Highlight it, the changed is written properly and also included @ T&C, so they could exclude their responsibility, same to all Telco like DiGi claim that Unlimited calls or Maxis 1 plan propaganda。Just try to take a look at here first because we have no point to mislead you

anyway you might still enjoy 5% discount paying your bill or top up umobile with me
