Define ur budget please. Budget and atmos doesnt coincide. Cos soundbar below 1k is just like better tv speaker, period.

Excellent. I am using acton IIi and II which are the smallest desktop model. The sound is loud enough to fill the entire living room and not to mention my master bedroom and study room.

Vocals are very crisp and clear while the bass is strong enough to compliment it. The bass and treble can be adjusted to suit individual liking so it is perfect.

I am totally satisfied with it.

I started with action III which I bought during a IT event at only rm850 which is almost half the price and use it in living room. Then subsequently I bought 3 x action II at around rm800 average also and place 1 of them in my study room now to use with my PC. While the other 2 just keep for spare. If buy at normal retail price it is ex but with discounted price it is totally worthy to buy.

Dont have specific budget. I guess value for money spec

I mean picked up a q990c a while back and it’s been just amazing. I was on the ‘don’t wanna compromise and get a soundbar’ camp before, but it’s pretty spectacular if you have a medium size space.

If you can spend a little bit time on browsing shopee and lazada web sites from the beginning of the promotion period, 12:00am to 12:30am time, you may surprise how deep the promotion discount can go down to...

This is recorded from my Q990B. Music is acceptable for my ears as the deep bass makes wonders to the melody. I've attached a Kenny G playing in my room, but it might not be as what I'm hearing live.

I mean if music is your priority, and you’re an audiophile nothing beats a pair of bookshelves from a reputable brand. If your focus is surround sound and movies or gaming, soundbars are great. Don’t get me wrong, soundbars are okay for music but you can get much better sound from bookshelves for the same price.

But those same bookshelves won’t be as good for movies or gaming. So it’s a question for you on what you want, and what compromises you’re willing to make. Soundbars are compact and fit in most rooms no problem without worry about wiring up surround speakers and stuff.

to me i am a little bit of everything, Netflix movies, blueray disc, ps5 gaming and some music. I saw some reviews saying that listening to Apple music would make a difference.

So i guess soundbar still fulfill most of my requirement.

I have a separate minimalist system for music, Naim unitilite & ProAc Tablette Signature 10.

For TV, am very happy with the Sony HTA7000 & SW5.

Still using my Sammy Q950T since 2020 till now.

Now seeing the Q990D has finally equipped with HDMI loop through system which brings 4K/120Hz (i see review also mentioning VRR support), tempted to grab.

Any user with Q990D here ? lol ..

I bought below 2.2k each from last year

I didn’t need the pass through hdmi2.1. Picked up the C instead for the room. 3k. D was 4K after discount.
