SWA-W700 price is super high. No other cheaper version to pair with.
And, the SWA-9000S rear speakers is not for sale in malaysia.

I tried the following.

Hypptv --> YAS-107 --> TV.
Select HDMI at the YAS-107, have picture and sound but not ARC. The sound is direct from Hypptv.

Select TV at YAS-107, have picture but no sound. Tried finding the device in the Bravia sync device list still not listed.
Ya. Bought at rm942 - Maybank RM15.
Later only decide whether want the sub or not. Now can't even get it to work properly.

Ya. I have check n got blue led. According to Yamaha no need to update already.

I tried swapping cables with the Hypptv stock hdmi cable and it is able to detect on the Bravia sync. 😵😵😵

read many reviews on Polk audio (with many complain on the popping sound from surrounding speakers & subwoofer, but mostly positive on the sound) but hardly find any review on the xiaomi soundbar.

Anyone care to give input?

This setup won't decode dolby and dts for minimum.

bsa12, I am in similar situation as you. I'm still using Aego 2.1, itchy wanna try surround sound... But FC don't like wire running around the living room, hence I'm looking for soundbar with wireless surround rear speaker too... I'm also looking at the XiaoMi soundbar if it is good.

Anyone got any idea, how to solve the problem when update firmware for Yamaha soundbar YAS 207 failed, when want to try again, it become like the picture shown.

Now even choose soundbar as speaker, no more sound.  Before update, everything fine.

so i went for it and bought this combo, amazing...pretty close to bose 300 soundbar and subwoofer combo which I was thinking to get and for a third the price (2000 vs 6000)!

Just hook up my old 2.1 Bluetooth speaker. I think it is good enough for me now. Temporary not going to look any soundbar as good one still freaking expensive to me.

At least I am not using TV speaker already.

Yup connected via Bluetooth. So far I don't see delay on my Apple TV 4K and Mi Box. Both work ok and sound sync ok.

First thing I check was to confirm the mouth is follow the voice when they talk and they are very well sync.
