i prefer they polish up people hub and the integration with message even more.. so hat i dun have more background process running..

Dont think so as WP 8.1 SDK shown FB integration will be removed from People's Hub. I like FM in WP8 thou, unique.

guys, im planning to get this Lumia 1520..currently an Android user which is HTC OneX with 4.7".

does this 6" phablet is an overkill in terms of portability?

also, where's the best deal at the moment? So far i've found SatuGadget which sells RM1,749.

also, how's the battery? is it really awesome that could last 2+ days??

so i need opinion from migrated android to windows phone user

Pedometer app is power hungry - an hour use battery dip 10%..however is small issue as I use it only in the morning an hour only..after walk phone is put back on charger
All pedometer app including various Android app are inaccurate..use it only as a guide..the reported walking steps often bigger than actual. So I use a ballpark estimate of 20% as a guide to monitor is I set my target 20% higher than what I wish to achieve..in android different app gives you too different figures in about 10% range too..use such app as rough guide only

Is a complete different experience..you end up either love or simply hate it
WM apps generally poorer in quality but I can see number of app increasing but yet to see good equivalent vs Android...i bought many app to test n end out dissappointed generally
File management Sucks due to windows restriction
Doesn't support USB otg cable
Its homesceen UI one either love or hate it...no choice but I have learn to accept it..many users simply love it but not me


Strengths of this phone:
very smooth UI n virtually no lag
great speaker sounds n can match my HTC One Max boom speakers
great YouTube playback within browser n Facebook n this feature none of androids I have used can match n blow my iPad away to smithereens
excellent display quality n I view better than HTC One/Note3/S4 etc

just be prepared for a different experience
I can write pages why i think android is better but I will not
I look forward to 8.1 which supposedly gives more features n I really look forward to a decent file explorer app as most are thrash due to windows restrictions

do tell what you need most in the phone n I can share my experience of it...no games requests as I don't play games on my phone nor on my desktop
