I got the solution from Nokia forum as apparently several users in same scenario as me and was advised to use only the Nokia cable

so much of this video is real and recorded with 1520? can we trust nokia?

This video was meant to show off the Audio recording capability of Nokia 1520. I believe them alright. Even the Rich Audio recording is quite good.

Don't know why 1520 is such bad at low light photography and video shakehead.gif Still photo low light will have a lot noise and sometimes red/green banding noise. Video is worst. 920 in the other hand is doing way better at low light for still photography and video as well. Not sure is it sensor quality or firmware issue, I tested 2 unit of 1520 side to side compare with 920 at home. I am seeing other forums got such complains as well now... This camera just disappointed me. doh.gif

Was unsuccessful trying to connect my phone with my Viao Pro ( windows 8.1), desktop PC ( winxp) , iMac n MBA ( Mac osx) using my oftenly used 3 usb cables ( htc, blackberry n samsung). All ocaasions it shows non detection of phone. Finally took out the supplied Nokia cable n Viola the phone was successfully detected.

Hi, to the owners of the red glossy 1520, can I have your feedback on the matter of scratches on the red gloss surface? How prone is it to (the inevitable) micro scratches that we normally get on glossy surfaces?

Appreciate if you can post some pics as well. Thanks!

Trying to choose between the red or the yellow. If the red was matte I'd have bought it in a heartbeat haha.

Honestly I've had no issues with Whatsapp notifications since August, the only time it doesn't work is of course when battery is too low & battery saver mode is on. Apart from that it works so well I often had to mute a bunch of groups so I don't get disturbed sweat.gif
