Basically quadcore and above can benefit greatly from removing core parking on intel CPUs

my bf4 still crash on my i5 2400 with GTX 770 on high settings, AA off

most of the time is the directx error and i have to restart the pc doh.gif

Tried that with my 3770, don't think it made any noticeable difference.

Mostly this issue for Windows 7.

Win8 somehow gain less increment from above tips.

I tried it and it increased my minimum FPS, max no change.

just installed win 8.1, constant 60 fps on ultra, HBAO with no AA and AA post

performance gap is just too much that it worth the hassle to install win 8.1 laugh.gif

my quadcore Q8300 doing very well with ATI 6970
now i save my money instead upgrade cpu,mobo and ram
bf3 now very smooth ....extra boost 20 fps
bf4 now is playable...so lucky TS post this
i almost wanna waste money upgrade to new cpu and mobo.. thumbup.gif

yup, without vsync it could go higher biggrin.gif

but somehow my bf4 on win 8.1 suffer from more frequent "BF4 has stopped working" crash compare to win 7

Hope new patch gives us faster and better performance towards BF4. So far I'm OK with the servers.

Worth to upgrade to Windows 8 in my opinion... faster definitely but by how much, not idea LOL
