QUOTE(gunbomb90 @ Nov 11 2013, 05:03 PM) Oh god! That helped alot! Thanks. Btw one more question, the nature is decided when u take the egg or when it hatches? BTW - Nature and stats are decided immediately upon taking the egg. So saving and soft reset before the hatching etc does nothing; I tested this myself... |

QUOTE(Sunnyeong @ Nov 11 2013, 05:07 PM) Hmm... I'm not very sure what you mean by that. Usually if you don't use Everstone to breed two Pokemons, the nature of the Pokemon will be at random (if I'm not wrong), but not sure when is the nature decided though. But if you use Everstone, the offspring is always going to have the same nature as the parent holding the Everstone. I think the chance is 50% which becomes 100% if both parents are holding everstone and have the same nature...QUOTE(Sunnyeong @ Nov 12 2013, 11:18 AM) One fun fact about Mega-Evolution. If let's say your Mega Pokemon fainted, and you revived it, it's sent out as the normal form and cannot Mega-Evolve (e.g. My Mega Blastoise faints, I used revive, and send him out again, but he appears as normal Blastoise, and the Mega-Evolve option is not available). I think the simple reason is that once fainted, affection level goes down so Mega-Evolve not immediately available until maybe 1 or 2 battles later? I see that happens to Lucario (caught) and Blaziken (reward)... Disclaimer: Pokemon noob here but have read a lot (which may or may not be wrong This post has been edited by tigerporc: Nov 12 2013, 01:29 PM |

QUOTE(takkicom @ Nov 14 2013, 11:27 AM) now left rotom and kangaskhan / grachomp / ageislash Yah, this is true, so sad when my one and only caught 4v Ditto has 31 for both Atk/SpA i rad post said 5v is better than 6v like gengar: cause 5v for a modest if atk is complete decent to 0 is the best. cause can reduce confused damage. |

QUOTE(takkicom @ Nov 14 2013, 01:41 PM) I may have but got to check; btw - should we trade some dittos? I think I have 2 (or 3), 3IV Dittos that we could trade (misc natures). I understand that dittos breed better with different trainer IDs?This post has been edited by tigerporc: Nov 14 2013, 02:16 PM |

QUOTE(erald06 @ Nov 17 2013, 09:50 PM) well, to trade with my friends and such, that's why. I always like to breed pokemon. I just didn't expect Ditto to be a 'rare' find compared to Eevee Well, I think most people wait till after beating E4 to start breeding; as you can easily get 2IV pokemons from Friends Safari for better chances of breeding better than 2IV pokemons... |

QUOTE(elroid @ Nov 23 2013, 07:53 PM) anyone can get me 3 pumpkaboo with pickup ability? need to get some leftovers but need high lv to do so. pumpkaboo should be easy to differentiate as if they didnt start with frisk abiliy means it has pickup. currently havent started IV stuffs so at most i can do is see whether i have something to help u fill some dex... The chances of getting the Pokemon finding leftovers with Pickup ability is as low as 1/1000 when at level 80-100? |

QUOTE(hydroboy87 @ Nov 29 2013, 07:31 PM) who is willing to trade my haunter so that it evolves and that trade it back to me? I have an abra caught with quick ball. It is a rare catch at route 5. You have to hope quick ball works coz it is around level 10 and has one move only which is teleport.and who has an abra??? how do we complete the pokedex without pokemons like lugia etc??? |

QUOTE(Sunnyeong @ Dec 1 2013, 09:13 PM) I guess there's one way to get a Japanese Ditto - get extremely lucky on Wonder Trade. Sometimes those guys are really kind, they give out Pokemon with Pokerus, or Pokemons that do not have perfect IVs, if you're lucky, you may get a Ditto Yah, but the wonder traded japanese dittos are from Pokemon village in my experience (I got 2 with no perfect IVs at all which I have not used for breeding as probably waste of time). I think maybe better find the japanese pokemon in GTS you would like to breed and trade for it and then use it in your breeding. |

QUOTE(Azeiar @ Dec 2 2013, 03:20 PM) Good evening everyone, just completed the first walk through of the game by beating the E4 and went to the Friend Safari city, any idea what I should do next? MaybeWas planning to complete the Pokedex, waiting for the Poke Transporter to be fully launched by Nintendo, so far I've observe everyone is having competitive play among with each other, would like to join but kinda still new to online/friendly match P.S. : Hello everyone nice to meet you all 1. Pokedex completion (with the help of GTS) 2. Breeding pokemons which you have 3IVs-4IVs for better chances of getting 5IV/6IV which you use for trading or battling 3. Collecting BPs in Battle Maison for battle items and TMs 4. Adding FC for collecting more 2IVs or better lvl 30 pokemons in Friend Safari 5. Battle with the many Battle kakis here (I am not one of them This post has been edited by tigerporc: Dec 2 2013, 04:18 PM |
