What about the gamefaqs' pokemon x trading forum ?

i think u can create 1 topic as new user and post 10 messages per day . Keep logging on everyday and u can get to lv20 in few days then u can post alot.

Btw everyday can see ppl trading shiny for 5IV stuff. So maybe u can get some there.

at least u have shiny already, i still dont have 1 after over 100 hours. **** my luck.

For in game only, doesn't matter, just go with whichever skill you like.

For competative battle, not recommended due to the number of weaknesses. Fire deals 4 times dmg since it's both grass and ice. Not only that, it receive 2 times dmg from poison, fight, flying, bug , rock and steel moves. You need to run a good setup to make him viable, like Protect and Giga Drain due to its high S.Atk. 150 Giga Drain is strong.

I have a 0 Speed , 31 atk Ferroseed with Egg Moves Leech Seed and Stealth Rock.

Already ran out of the 5IV ones since i traded them out for other pokes.

If u want u can have it and use it to breed for the 0 speed.

yea bunch of ppl fishing for shiny everyday. For Masuda Method , yes u have higher chance of getting shiny if u breed 2 pokes from different region. Can get those pokemon that u wanted to breed through gamefaqs trading forum . There's quite a number of Europeans .

Hey bro, are u using the frisk and compound eye method?

I cant remember where i read it but if u're using your own region's poke to breed u have 1/8000 chance to get a shiny and if u use diff region pokes your chance will improve to 5/8000. I gave up shiny farming long tiem ago

Ok just want to make sure if u're using or not. If using i no need to type so much haha. So here is basically what u need :


1. Pokemon with compound eye : Scatterbug or Butterfree ( CE increases the chance of finding a wild Pokemon with an equipped item. )
2. 2nd pokemon with the Frisk ability that can learn Thief , like Pumpkaboo or Noibat. ( Frisk can help u identify what item a wild poke is holding )
3. Put Scatterbug/Butterfree in your 1st slot but make sure it's fainted. ( 0 Health )
4. So once u get into battle the Compound Eye ability will still work and you proceed to throw your 2nd pokemon out due to the 1st slot fainted.
5. Once the 2nd poke is out u can check whether Luvdisk is holding an item or not through Frisk ability.
6. If yes, Thief it, if no, escape. Rinse and Repeat.

Nice. Surely can get a good trade for the 0 speed 5 iv one. I think some ppl will take the 6 iv too.

In game any poke should work. Just use your fave ones and enjoy

Dunno if this has been posted yet or not but if you're not in a hurry to hatch eggs or have a storage full of eggs, then you can fly to Lumiose City and head to the Prism Tower for this egg hatching trick. Overall it's kinda slow compared to egg hatching along the day care route. But it frees you up to do something else and all u need is to stay alert to press a button when an egg is about to pop.
