Spotted quite a lot of them at Bangi area. Purple color looks great!

Waited for a long 3 months for the delivery - booked on 28th Jul, delivered on 30th Oct.

I booked on the 29 July and only managed to collect my car from TC PJ last week.....but no regret! Really nice car for the price...

My car is now 8 days on the road. Anyone know how to reset the fc? I believe it calculate since my 0km.

Just keep long press on the button that has only a single white dot few 5 secs or longer, then the fc reading will reset.

this serena really practical , like mini alphard but seat can be push side way that excellent. i think this can beat biante easily.

Just got my car 30th Oct.

Go to the FC display, press the button with white solid circle more than 1 sec. The other display works the same as well.

just booked mine too...now have super promotion for the pre facelift one...

I noticed the speedometer is 5% faster than actual speed. 100km/h on speedometer, car actually travelling 95km/h. Tested with Waze, in car gps speed, and another MB E200 trailing behind.

i guess it's normal, considering both my myvi and almera also showing the same in the speedometer whereby in waze gps it's showing 5kmh difference.

have yet got hold of my new serena. will test it out and let you know.

those are preregistered ones... price range between 116-118k. TC disposed the vehicle at 112k.

Just got my Serena, possible to add front parking camera to the tcat multimedia navigator?

I got FC around 9.7km/l, seldom rev over 2000rpm but always stuck in jam. The same route, I got 13km/l for myvi 1.3 last time

yes, there are few problems or quality concerns.

very difficult to join the SHOC FB group.. so will ask my question here.

there are 2 variants now, Premium Highway Star and Highway Star. I wanted to get the premium version but the window tint included is way too clear for me (I prefer darker tint). SA advised me to take the normal Highway Star instead and add the optional accessories back into the car (turning it back into Premium Highway Star again) so that I have the option of getting a darker tint...

If i follow the SA advice, the multimedia navigator/reverse camera and the roof monitor will be different a bit compared to the Premium version one due to different models being fitted.

My question is, anyone did like what the SA advised and are you happy with it?

Buy the standard car n add the accessories outside. It will be cheaper n u have more options. Slowly shop n u can add as u go

just wondering, how's the fuel consumption for a big car like that with hybrid?

Hybrid is bs, I'm getting about 10-11km per litre

Can't say like that. I couldn't even get that mileage on my Honda HR-V because it's often on short trip. So it all depends on how and where you drive.

But I do believe the Hybrid part is insignificant.

City, if highway can get 12+

I'm planning to purchase MPV as family car. now in the decision of selecting Nissan Serena or Mazda Biante.

Based on the test drive, below is my observation

Serena
Feel the car are light even it was 1.6 Ton when driving
Wide windscreen
Flexible seat arrangement especially the last row could put up.

Drawback:
Interior look very cheap funny a bit

Mazda
Stable especially cornering even seat at 3rd row
Flexible seat arrangement to provide more leg room

Drawback
Wide windscreen but big blink spot between the main and site windscreen
Last row can't be put off which limit the space
Feel the car are heavy and like under power

Could someone please shared your experience driving this car included the FC in City area.

Getting my Serena in a few more days. Looking for recommendations on replacing the stock HU with a basic touchscreen with reverse camera (no need GPS). Any ideas?

The HU should around 1K+ China mari. lot of function and it will be done by TCM authorized centre to prevent any complained if issues happen

Hello guys, I'm looking for new mpv to accomodate my family with 4kids. Currently, I'm looking at Nissan Serena S hybrid and New Innova.

Very hard to make decision between these 2 cars.
I had test drive Nissan Serena but not yet for the new innova.
What make you all choose Nissan Serena?Could you share it here.

Problem having here as well..

Though I dun own one but I'll still pick Serena over Innova any day. The Serena's seats configurations, the sliding door and mild hybrid are the determining factors over the Innova.

Based on the test drive, below is my observation

Serena
Feel the car are light even it was 1.6 Ton when driving
Wide windscreen
Flexible seat arrangement especially the last row could put up.

Drawback:
Interior look very cheap funny a bit
Sound system bad
Driving van 


Mazda
Stable especially cornering even seat at 3rd row
Flexible seat arrangement to provide more leg room
Biante out from my list as Japan factory scheduled close down Mazda MPV production line

Drawback
Wide windscreen but big blink spot between the main and site windscreen
Last row can't be put off which limit the space
Feel the car are heavy and like under power
3 rows seat quality lousy than 2nd row and smaller size

New Innova:
Good respond & all new safety items like 7 Airbag where the Serena / Mazda didn’t have.

Drawback
3 rows bit small leg room
3 rows seat quality lousy than 2nd row and smaller size.
If want to go 3rd you need to flip 2nd row to go in even small kid. * Take note when want to close the 2 row seats need ensure the leg are not in seat lock area will very painful ( go show room & seat at 3rd row then try close the 2nd row back, you will know). Not good on long distance & people size like me where will get head jackpot.
Non flexible on seat arrangement compared to above 2.

You need to replace your Aux. Battery (the smaller N40 battery visible under the air intake) Blinking means your hybrid function will not work due to the dead Aux Battery. The battery could be dry by now 😊.

Get a new MF N40 battery an replace the battery. You need to reset the ECU by following instruction available in the youtube. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz4ExyMAKpQ

Anybody knows how to reset the "key warning indication" by using acelerator paddle only? I replaced my Aux Battery recently but mistakenly set the alarm on. Now the key warning indication appears. Try to reset using the ECU resetting method but unsuccessful.

Nobody has upload any youtube video for resetting the key warning indicator, thus far. So please assist me if you have experince resetting it by pressing acelerator paddle.

The new Serena was spot testing on the road. Most likely next year. Hope Malaysia dont remove too many cool features and can keep the price competitive.

Can just get the obd autolock fix . Simple plug in kinda module without any wiring ...

yesterday i go walk walk shopping see got serena on display, I see the premium variant so nice, rm147,355.41 got rebate rm8k if 10%down the rest loan will me aprx. rm1520/month. *depending what interest rate i can get la.

so tempting to go for it, still in tempted for the new c27 model unless the current c26 got great discounts when c27 about to launch.

Hi all

need advise, my car has this problem when start stepping oil pedal at zero speed.
it is not absorber. Technician tighten twice and no result.

I fill in full tank rm112,48liter can only go 380km..

done your 1K service? and hope you not a heave footer.
suggest you monitor for next few refilll if still below than you may want to ask the SC check the air filter and filter pipe. members do hit due to the pipe loss / filter not install properly
