Hello all,

I have been wondering, where do you all usually back up/store your photos? On virtual drives or external HDD? (must be damn a lot..)

I have been thinking how I want to keep all my photos. External HDD could spoil very suddenly also! rclxub.gif

I am using the very economical method. Kept 2 copies, 1 in my PC HD and 1 in external HD.

You can use microsoft synctoy to snyc the folders. And it is free.

If you have more budget, do consider using NAS with Raid 1 configuration for redundancy purposes.

Good lucks.

External HDD would be the cheapest option for me. Important pics will be saved on cloud storage.

Flickr gives you 1 TB of space for each yahoo email you owned.

Create 20 fake yahoo emails you'll have 20TB of space and that is RM10,000 worth of Synology / Drobo 5 bay HDD NAS with carry 4TB each bay.

Cheapskate-wise speaking though.

I accumulated the space by flashing custom ROM on my android phone and signing up to dropbox from there. (Samsung and HTC rom) smile.gif

Nope, no limit in space that you can have. Either you buy the space or earn it through promotion or offers that tie in with phone makers.

Another way (you can call it old-fashioned also) burn them into DVD's.

Or otherwise once your SD card full don't format it, keep it the original copies there and upload everything on flickr biggrin.gif
