Look at all my stars!!
|
1. Budget - Max min
2. GPU VS CPU. Which is the preference.
3. Good quality components vs higher spec/performance component
4. Schedule Maintenance based on 3rd. Higher quality less time.
5. GPU if on Gaming. Whats the reso i want to game at and is my budget sufficient as its a mix between the right cpu and gpu combi.
Outline this on ure thought process.

1. Budget 2. Purpose of rig. 3. Preferences - AMD or Intel, AMD or NVIDIA.
I think most importantly is not to let reviews and benchmark fool you. Yes, some brands will have better performance to price ratio or better benchmark scores altogether, but building a rig is about preferences.
Mostly importantly, have fun while you're at it and be proud of what you made.
