i have bad experiences with fake/imitations that makes me regret till today. the material scratched my iPad mini. Now i only got for original brand or i rather go for skins from Hydraskins. Although skins does not protect against shock, at least it prevent scratches.

But Ori branded case price can simply overkill one 16years student.

thats what i thought too.. but i ended up with 8 casings for my iPad mini... now I'm using the Nuguard Kx and when i put on those MIC case, it doesnt last a day before i change back to nuguard

With back transparent plastic. I never held the original Moshi before but I felt mine was pretty solid and well built. If it's a knock off, I wouldn't care, cheap, folds very well and it's transparent back shows off the sexy back of my space grey ipad air. Some outlets have limited colors but I generally found purple, light blue, dark blue, light grey, pink. If they sell higher, discount until rm75.

Well... if u are happy with it, then no one can complain.. like i said, i used to use those cheap casing too, those selling around RM80 - RM150 depending on seller.. but I'm lucky cos as a seller, i can get most of those MIC case at dealer price around RM10 - RM30. Reason y i still ended up with premium cases is because after using for a while, those MIC cases really irritates me, magnet not strong anymore, keep opening the flip until my battery also flat, some even scratched my iPad mini.. ended up i getting another unit.. finally change to the current nuguard which give me a piece of mind.. that day my iPad mini drops on the toilet floor, if I'm still using my MIC case, probably i will need to get a new unit again..

An iPad is even overkill for 16 year old student. If you can afford an iPad, protect your investment.

Not sure exact material. Looks like leather but I'm sure it isn't. Apple ipad air smart case is leather though. Could be leather..

The mini with retina is slightly thinner than the first mini, any of you guys with the new mini using the first mini casing and got problems?

you know anywhere else that sell ori moshi versaover orgami besides switch? I bought one from lowyat for ipad aid, I didn't know there are imitation until now, the fake one doesn't include magnet and also the case is harder to fold and the case itself feels so cheap
