couldn't connect to my home WiFi anymore after updated to 4.4 (hotspot can) .
haih...I did some research and change the WIFI settings to WPA/WPA2 & tick the 'DLNA auto IP' from WIFI network->three dots but the results still the same.

Hmm... I've yet to test the battery life. Oh for those whodididn't have any issues with wifi, how old is your router and what model is it? Mine is from the b g era. Netgear DG834G v3. Currently I'm connected to sub router which is Linksys E1000. Works fine with E1000. Maybe kitkat hates old routers lol.

mine is AZTECH DSL605EW Wireless Modem, quite old @@

What WiFi are you on?

2.4 GHz or 5GHz?

802.11ac or 802.11n or 802.11g or 802.11b?

WPA or WEP or WPA2?
*
I set the WiFi frequency to Auto

not sure which 802.11n or 802.11b

I had tried 3 of these still same.

By the way, I can connect others WIFI with WEP type, so i guess that is not the issue.

Hmm if cannot, there is something to set on your router, then something word 'channel' i guess. Just open browser and look forward on wifi setting.

Found something like - Channel B/G: 6 on my Wireless Setup.

EDITED : Tried 'Wipe cache partition' and it still didnt solve it. cry.gif
