Go open Google Settings in app drawer, tap into Search, off it.

For the love of God. A lot of people including me have repeated this so many times. When you upgrade or downgrade to any new or old OS. It needs TIME to SETTLE on the DEVICE. TIME around 4 to 7 days. MEANWHILE the battery will drain fast as it is settling. So hold your horses and have some patience.
