GREAT GREAT. Just receive my phone and i wonder how they hiring their technician to do their work actually. if this kind of repair quality they then i would do it myself by just buy another Rm 3 3second glue and stick the gap side. They so dumb until the glue can be seen and the gap still there. i dont what wth they really do and its totally pissed me off. haix. Worst phone ever i brought in my life.

really people stay away from HTC one when you know it usually has camera problems. I mean yes thr r some lucky buyers including me who have no issues with thr htc one. But chances are high to get a faulty set then why risk urself? Better wait for M8 or get some other phone.

it breaks my heart to give this htc one to my dad. I like it a lot. Even though no fault but I think it is time to move on. I feel like experiencing pure plain android.

This is the standard art of "taichi" customers around. Never to buy HTC again? I think I will also jump ship to the Nexus series, unless HTC customer service surprises me.

Sent phone in on 23/12/13. Let's see what happens then. Stardard reply is phone under assessment and time frame is 2 weeks now.
I believe some write ups has mentioned the slow charge up once near full battery. Fast charge then nearing full will trickle down to help preserve battery life.

Does the phone led lights up green once fully charged on yours?

So I brought my father to lowyat to replace his HTC desire to Moto g last Tuesday. He contemplated with an xperia z1 while waiting for the stock to arrive around 6pm. I had to go back earlier and to my surprise, he bought a silver htc one 32GB.

That night, we noticed the camera gives purplish discolouration on low light. This is unacceptable. I went on xda-dev and there is 60+ pages of camera problem thread. This must be a widespread issue.

So we went back to the shop at lowyat and hoped for a replacement. The guy didn't ask much, he went somewere else and got a replacement unit but it is a red colour!

Unfortunately, the camera purplish discoloration is still present. The shop refuses to swap back my father's original silver unit. He suggested us to got to htc service centre.

We went there and the lady at the desk told is it is a problem that has persisted since launch. Swapping with a different unit would not make a difference. That is puzzling from HTC side. I'm sure HTC awares of such problem and should work to getting a working camera module to replace the defective one.

So we sent the red htc one for repair. We were promised for collection this coming Monday around lunch time.

tldr: defective camera. HTC gives no **** about it.

This is confusing.......htc sent me an email today.......asking for serial no. , IMEI and phone model....soo I sent it....they replied after that.....same answer :-

However, keep in mind that the updates are sent periodically in this case, I will recommend you to please stay tuned and please check going to menu, settings, about phone and software update. Also, as soon as the update is available for your device you will receive it OTA.
