I have quite a big tummy with extra fat on the sides. I want to eliminate all of them. I usually do push ups when i wake up in the morning. After work, i will go for a swim everyday. Alternately, i'd go to the field for football or jog. Sometimes i lift weights at home just to build up the muscles at my biceps and triceps. Here's what i usually have in a day. Breakfast 8.10am - Milo with bread or breakfast bars Lunch 1.00pm - Rice with chicken and vege. Sometimes i have noodles. Water Dinner 8.00 pm. : Rice with chicken and egg or noodles. I seldom have food in between. Sometimes i get hungry in the morning at ard 10 or 11am, i have tiger biscuits. Lol I have people giving me suggestion that my dinner should be substituted with bread and hot beverages and also meal replacement supplement. Is this true? What kind of meal supplements are out there? Any advice regarding my daily consumption is appreciated. thanks! U alredi hv active lifestyle, dats gud. To increase ur metabolism, try do weights on other muscles as well. More muscles, more calories burnt. Diet wise, try substituting bread with wholemeal bread, or better oats. Drink milo with less/no sugar. Take brunch, there cn be healthier options than tiger biscuits, like fruits/protein source. Meals should be 5-6 times a day but in less caloric value per meal. Try google for site dt offers calculation of ur daily caloric requirement, eat 500-700 kCals less than that, but if ur male dun go below 1600 kCals/day. Eat less rice, more chicken/fish n vege. Eat less noodles. Better still, substitute rice/noodels with oatmeals if ur really trying to lose weight. I dont think meal replacement is a good idea coz natural healthier fuds r better n more fulfilling. Just my 2cents.
