I've got a problem though rite now. During lunch, i'd normally choose from:

1. Chicken Breast grilled with butter
2. Hot Dogs (The Farm's Best brand)
3. Ramly Burger
4. Tuna
5. Beef stir fryed with soy sauce.

Now since I've taken out tuna and ramly burger, I'm not sure how I should replace these two lunches. Since I take a little amount of time to cook in the morning, what would you suggest I take for lunch substituting the 2? smile.gif

Well, i take eggs half boiled in the morning, then 3 boiled ones for post workout. And gotta jaga hati my parents. trust me, even though i've explained entirely about eggs, they don't wanna listen. biggrin.gif

I could go for 3 days of eating chicken breast, but I want diversification, and to prove that bodybuilders don't eat boring meals. tongue.gif

Yeah, very sad lah.

But i do once in a while go for a little cheat. Sumtimes, i go for KFC snack plate. Some times, if my mother makes chicken rice, I'd take the chicken and then eat with a good portion of rice. Or be it Ayamas or the like.

Sausage and burger, well, that's cuz my dad bought it, and they pester me to it. So, not really free in choosing my foods, but i do find how once in a while to take independent meals to work.

Hoping that shopping at Carrefour tomorrow will bode well. smile.gif But still blank on other clean meats. sad.gif

u can go for kfc. Take out the skin because it contain the flour and gravy during deep fry. But reading from the nutrition content in the KFC pamplet, 2 piece chicken only contains 9g carb. I donno if it's true or not.
*
4rings once said to us that there' no point to eat KFC without the skin. Might as well go for some ayam goreng that you could get cheaper. Just think carefully on what in the snack plate or other combos that you feel like eating. Since I just ate mine 2 days ago. tongue.gif

Hey, I never said that.  shocking.gif It was somebody else. I said it is fine to eat chicken skin provided the chicken were not fed with antibiotics or drugs.
Drugs and heavy metals are mainly stored in the organ meats and the fatty tissue.

You can have mutton for lunch, fresh fish to replace canned tuna. Mackerel is good and cheap too. 1 fish (12" long) cost around RM2.50 at the supermarts. You can also have big prawns for your lunch.

Owh really ah? sorry2. Perhaps I quoted the wrong person. Ouch... My bad. smile.gif

Ah, that's nice. Ok, will try looking for them tomorrow. Thanks! We always could count on ya. tongue.gif

I heard that having a really fluffy milkshake and chiffon cake is good enough to make u full. So I'd go with how the stomach is able to store the food, and air.

Well, variations of people make the world go round. hehe.

To Ryan, I think Kege has prompted the things you need to lose the fat on you. If you're onto bodybuilding, then you should've been more specific. Losing fat and bodybuilding are different.

@fireball, he means you won't get diabetes just yet, even if you've been in a hi carb diet for a long time.

That's how I look at it.

Gonna stop buying peanut butter and maybe stop consuming HL milk too ... Since I get higher protein/ringgit from whey and eggs ... no point then .. plus whey is so convenient just stir and drink !~

Actually HL milk from Jusco has a very high protein/ringgit too ... The original price is 8.35 for twin pack, means 4.175 each pack ... One pack has 50g of protein, so it's 50/4.175 = 11.976g of protein/ringgit ... which is higher than the Scivation whey protein/ringgit ( Since HL milk is junk food so not recommended sleep.gif ) ... In the end nothing beats the almighty whey from 4Rings ... 12.94g/ringgit heh

For me, i like to vary my sources. That way the food I eat doesn't become boring.

But now, with my research paper, I don't really have any free time to do BB. sad.gif

Another way of putting mike's way of saying would be to search the same terms you posted. I get constant comments of too much carbs.

In a way, I still do. that is, if i didn't take up kickboxing.

My Workout Meal Today.
Breakfast (10.45am) - Oats+Milo (Forgot to eat apple)
Lunch (2.25pm) - Half cup rice, the whole chicken wing, 1 ikan Kembong, half cup of lean meat, potato sambal (I understand its not dat good, but tats what i got so far)
Tea Time (4.30pm) - 2 slices of bread, tuna, Milo, water.
Pre Workout (7.15pm) - Milo+Oats, Milk 200 ML
Post Workout (9.15pm) - 3 egg whites, 2 yolks.
Dinner (9.20pm) - Same as lunch.

3 years later, this is how I eat:

Breakfast: Either oats with peanut butter and raisins or milo. Koko krunch if not binging on oats. These come with at least 1 glass of milk.
Lunch: (Those days I cooked as a student) Now, its tortilla wrapped with stir fried chicken or meat with butter and some seasoning and a bit of leafy greens. The amount of chicken or beef however is constantly 200gm (will increase soon)
tea Time/preworkout: Its either 2 eggs during workout days or 1 apple during kickboxing days
postworkout: An apple during workout days and nothing after kickboxing. Yeah, i'll improve on this.
Dinner: quarter plate of rice and whatever meat my mom is cooking. The load however is more than lunch.
Supper: Its either milk, omellete, or nothing.

I think i've come a long way from how I started, this time I need to increase more intake for more lifts. biggrin.gif

Sure. Its a start. Just review back your gains after two months and then see what you can improve from that.

Breakfast - 6 spoons of oats, 2 slice bread with peanut butter spreading, cup of milk.

Lunch - Chicken breast*size of typical mamaks * with rice and vegetables sometimes add a fish.

4pm - 2 slice bread with peanut butter adding cheese, cup of milk

Dinner - Same as lunch

Supper - cup of milk and 2 slice of peanut butter with cheese.

This only what i got in my house. Give some tips and advice thanks.
*
BF: Lose the bread or lessen the oats by a bit while maintaining the bread. Peanut Butter brand should be like Steffi's.

Lunch, Dinner: DOuble the chicken

4pm, change the bread to banana.

Supper: Looks fine.

I'd cook when I can. Normally I just allow myself to wake up early and cook while having a hearty breakfast.

Some BBers of the past used to cook a whole turkey and ate it for a week straight. Making sandwiches out of it and so on. I just can;t remember who did that, but I think Tom Venuto taught me that.
