hi guys, newbie here tryin to start investin in UT. at the moment, which funds should i look into?

Do u guys recommend me goin to the banks and ask bout their products?

Any advice/tips from sifus here is appreciated.

hi. for starter, kindly visit www.fundsupermart.my and check out the funds. cause there is alot of fund houses out there and not to mentioned you need to determine your own risk appetite first before venturing into UT purchases. smile.gif

but do post your question in this thread, alot of master shifu!

about you going to the bank and ask the product, i reckon you call the FSM agents (contact number at website). they very efficient. icon_rolleyes.gif

aiyo those agents, they recommend those funds can percaya 1? i am readin thru this thread to learn.

i wanna go into malaysia-based fund, but i read in the edge, they say small-mid cap shares macam gonna meletup soon since way above valuation.

then thought of us based fund since i read the market they gonna recover from slump, but sifus here said dow jones gonna tumble in late march, takutlah. park my money in saving account then inflation pulak.

those agents of course will recommend u funds. but end of the day, you make your own decision to buy or not.

regarding the speculation about the small-mid cap letup and dow jones tumbling down... it's all depends on your judgement.

make your decisions based on your facts & understanding not based on people's POV. laugh.gif cause u ain't wanna blame them when you make losses right?

Hmmm.. Ok.

So mafan. Need hide. Worksheet not nice already. Side number not in sequence already. Haha. OCD much. On the other hand, return % very nice tongue.gif

Overweight HSAQ now. 20% of my total portfolio!!!

No worries.

Switched out the entire Hwang Select Asia Opportunity (HSAO) holdings into Select Asia Quantum. That's why. Will focus on increasing global exposure moving forward, and topping up Pacific Global Star (PGSF) for Asia large cap.

Believe it or not, Pink and I used to constantly complain about it and intend to dispose it. Luckily we didn't. PGSF > HSAO! tongue.gif
