Your Personal Home Cinema Is Here!
MICRO LED PROJECTOR
Sit back and watch a movie with a friend or two

3LED + LCoS
This micro projector uses three LED lamps as light source, one each for red, blue and green.
Dedicating a single lamp for the primary colours, not only eliminates of the colour wheel but,
together with LCoS display technology, helps produce images with more vivid and natural colours.

Long lasting ownership
The LED lamps in this micro projector has an estimated lifespan of 20,000 hours.
That's more than 18 years if you're watching 3 hours of video for 7 days a week!
Power consumption is also exceptionally low.
Most of the energy is used to produce images instead of being wasted in the form of heat.
Since it runs cooler, it doesn't require large cooling fans and results in quieter operation.

Multitude of connectivity options
This micro projector is a beast of connectivity.
Besides accepting a host of different inputs such as HDMI, AV and VGA, it also has a TV tuner!
Plug in your TV aerial and now you can watch your favourite TV programs.
This micro projector is so well equipped that it also has a built-in media player.
Insert a regular USB thumb drive, or a SD card, and play directly from there.

Slick looking piece of equipment
Housed in aluminum automatically makes it win in the looks department.
The design is clean and neat. Lens on one side while all connections are on the other side.
Aluminum not only makes the micro projector durable, but also elegant.
Elegant enough to sit between your other high-end equipment.

Ultra portable
Big in features but small in size and light in weight.
This makes the micro projector ultra portable. Perfect when you need it for business or holiday trips.
Want to watch a quick video before sleeping? With a suitable mount, you can even project images to the ceiling!

We know that the Micro LED projector is ultra portable.
On spec it is 115mm by 115mm by 35mm.
But just how portable is it, really?

Just to give a visual indication about its physical size,
here are some photos.

Next to a standard can of 354ml soft drink.

Smaller than a palm, holding it with just one hand.

I've taken some image size measurements based on distance from the micro LED projector.

For every distance of 12 inch, I got about 7.35 inches of screen.

So to get about 40" of screen, place the projector about 65" away.
For a 50" screen, that's about 82" away.
And so on.
Of course, bear in mind the further we go, the less bright it will be.

Here are some video formats I have personally tested with the default built-in video player.
CODE
Extension(1) Video codec Audio codec
============ =========== ===========
mp4(2)       avc1        mp4a(3)
rmvb         rv40        mp4a
3gp          h263        samr
flv          h264        mp4a
wmv          wmv3        wma2

(1) file extension
(2) 1080 resolution is supported via HDMI
(3) sample rates of 32khz, 44.1khz and 48khz are supported

There could be more supported file formats.
If a video file is not supported, try using an external player such as an android mini pc or laptop computer.

Here are a few actual photo shots of projected images of the micro LED projector.

The screen size was about 50".

All lights, except street lights through a window, are off.

This one has some ambient light. So are the rest. I have a 10watt LED lamp about 17 feet away.

A few other photos.

- All settings on the micro LED projector are default.
- The images are projected on a white wall instead of a proper projector screen.

This is the power consumption for the Micro LED projector.
Attached Image

And the below is for a 32" TV.
Sorry about the photo quality(couldn't get a better angle) but we can still make it out as 133w.
Attached Image

The Micro LED projector consumed 8 times less power than the TV.

Some photos of the Micro LED projector's internals.

Yup. I took it apart, just to check and see smile.gif

The TV tuner module and double speakers(1)

Double cooling fans too.

The components pointed by the arrows should be the 3 RGB LEDs.
Confirmation of a Syndiant board at the bottom.

The heat sinks for the LEDs.
The lens is on the upper left.

(1) There are other lower end models. Among other differences, those have just one speaker.

Having taking apart the Micro LED projector, I found a pleasant little surprise.

The focus ring on the front is actually made from a solid piece of metal biggrin.gif
Nice touch. I appreciate all these little things.
