The full CARAT program consists of the following main modules:-
* General ledger - cash, bank, journals, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation, profit/loss, balance sheet
* Debtors' ledger - account codes, sales invoices, statements, ageing, ledger
* Creditors' ledger - account codes, purchase invoices, ledger, ageing
* Invoicing - invoices, price table, sales analysis (debtor, stock, location, date, salesmen, business type, payment type)
* Stock ledger - stock codes, receipts, adjustments (issues, returns, write-off), reports (movement, excess, reorder, etc.)
Before the GST announcement, some customers use just the general ledger, some the first two modules and some, the first three modules and others, no accounting software.
