New or used? Used ones may be dusty, so you need to clean them up a bit.

You don't have to bottom out for the keys to get it to register.
Honestly, the first time i tried a broken in HHKB, i was meh. It took 2 or 3 weeks and it was wonderful after that.

You can get topres from EK, Taobao and also singapore if you are closeby.
Prices from EK and taobao are as competitive as the price from Amazon jp
