QUOTE(justnits @ Oct 29 2013, 10:01 AM) i've thought of getting extra 2x2GB ddr2, but i'm not sure if it's good enough. Yeah, but you're still using DDR2... so that's a bummer. but i guess that's the most economical way to get some upgrades and keycaps QUOTE(paradis3lost @ Oct 29 2013, 10:07 AM) We're not living in the XP era anymore dude. His PC built in old era... no choice one.If you wanna get 4GB first, then just get one module (1 x 4GB), you can top up with another 4GB when you need it. |

QUOTE(tWice @ Nov 1 2013, 12:59 AM) So, "ABS Black Team Edition Red axis" Normally bundled with PBT keycaps around 400-500 RM locally. PBTs are worth that much more. Is the one for Keycool 87 Black case with RED SWITCH???? If i buy it, i wanna bundle with pbt keycaps... Go get the QFR, it is better choice. |

QUOTE(Human10 @ Nov 1 2013, 01:41 PM) The "What if I tell you taobao got" is referring to taihao, but whatever, no reason to get taihao from taobao since there are other choices like Vortex/KBC in taobao. Any linkies for the Plum96? Can't find leh...For the PLUM96, mine is 1st gen, which is PCB mounted and using Cherry stabiliser. The spacebar spacing is a little off standard, akind to last gen's keycool. Currently, there are 2 options for plum96 available in taobao, one is wired only and another is wired + wireless. Wired only one can't do backlit, while the wireless one can. For the layout and keycaps compatibility part, the wired one (owned by one of the member here - JohnDiew) is having all keys (including spacebar) standard, except for the single sized 0 and 00 instead of 2x sized 0 as of normal keyboard (which isn't really a problem if you are get used to TK already). For the wireless one, since no one here own it b4, so I can't guarantee to you it will be same as the wired one. So if you interested to get the wireless one of it, I can help you go China forums and ask for a more definite answer. TL;DR: Wired version confirm standard (except for the 1x 0 and 1x 00 instead of 2x 0), if want confirmation ask JohnDiew Wireless version I can yet confirm it. If interested I can go Chinaforums help ask. |

Anyone getting the massdrop ergodox?
Would it be REALLY hard to DIY my way through it or what? I currently have too much time on hand so it'll be nice to have a project to do for a while. |

QUOTE(justnits @ Nov 21 2013, 12:01 PM) if u can afford it, and like the design, and too much time, i'd say GO FOR IT! yeahhhh....but, what about keycaps? i'm lacking on the afford it part The keycaps is an issue. It's supposed to use flat profile keycaps. There's a massdrop for the keycaps @ USD45. So expensive :| |
