But I put it to replace the WASD keys which I moved to the arrow sections... Where can I get the full set metal keycaps?? the metal ones feels so much nicer when typing and the 'clack' sounds like it has a better thump to it Also, I'm also interested to get low profile keycaps such as the LP Family variant from http://www.keycapsdirect.com/key-caps.php or like in this picture; ![]() This post has been edited by antonio: Nov 3 2013, 12:44 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(trent666 @ Nov 8 2013, 08:33 PM) To Human10, Wow...thanks for the review... gotta check the offer later...265 for a mech keyboard with Costar stabilizer sound nyummy....Thanks for your advice. Just received my CM STORM QUICKFIRE RAPID in the mail today and typing on it now. You're right. I don't need sound dampeners! Looks like I'm the touch typing type who doesn't hammer the keys. So its pretty quiet. Quick review of CM STORM QFR: Price = RM265 from lingloong84. Apparently, its on sale. Some other sellers going for RM325. Wonder why QFR can be priced alongside other MKBs that have more bells and whistles. Heavy for its size. Tenkeyless. Solid build. I like the cable routing system because my workspace is small and the normal Orange CC that I go to has a tiny table. Windows-key deactivation is a nice touch. Since this is my first MKB, it does feel different (That's the point isn't it?) but it doesn't feel unnatural. It's my first MKB in about... 20 years? Best part about this keyboard is the size, or lack of it. Not having the numpad makes a big difference to the size. I can imagine coupling the keyboard with my iPad in the field for work and bringing it to my favourite CCs for games at night. If you guys are in the market for a no frills MKB that is priced below USD100/RM300, then QFR is probably a good choice. But, I believe that the QFR is no longer in production so you better grab what's left now. #tocannibalizeformechkeyboardcustomprojectmaybe |

Something i found at my training center in Bangkok
It does have the heft and sturdy feeling....also feels like a brown or a muted blue switch... From FCC ID is points mostly to Datacomp made The keyboard is being used to key in to a Hunter Engineering ProAlign Laser Alignment System This post has been edited by antonio: Nov 17 2013, 04:39 PM |

QUOTE(justnits @ Nov 21 2013, 07:54 PM) ![]() this is standard layout. ![]() this is non-standard layout. Note the bottom CTRL - ALT - SPACEBAR row. compare that and you'll notice. ![]() another non-standard. ![]() this is a different standard layout. the bottom row is using what we called "tsangan kit". whereas the 1st picture (ducky shine 3) is using what we called "moogle kit". |
