Positive point score

QFR
1) QFR better OEM than TK (as stated by krymian before)
2) Standard layout
3) A lot of keycaps from Taobao for starter. Or even get used unit from a forumer
4) Costar stabiliser

TK
1) LED is a blessed for those who put LED above layout

In the end, it's your money, your call. Get the one which satisfied you the most. Somehow I can't find worn out ABS keycaps for you to show how bad it can be especially for backlited keycaps.

You missed one of the most important point for yourself.

Thank you.  laugh.gif I ignore that. It's hard to be fussy. sweat.gif  Already try to get live with cherry stab now. Yeah, Costar stab felt differently especially the modifier. Custom keyboard, one day definitely.
*
Those kastam boards guys no complain cause they modded Cherry stabilisers.

Kastam boards always use pcb mounted stabiliser instead of plate mounted, which may also a factor contribute to the different from normal plate mounted boards.

Non backlited like Filco somehow feel more durable than Ducky. Is it Filco only or all non backlited ABS better than backlited ABS?
*
In fact, filco's keycaps also coated (but heard that the coating is quite durable and nice).

And since it isn't backlit keycaps, even the coating worn, the kaler is still black underneath. So it shall become shiny eventually too.

budget - RM150
colour - white , red , purple, white with red font
printing method - any
prefer sideprint
*
For RM150 budget, I will suggest you go for KBC/Vortex Doubletshot PBT. Got red on white variant. It shall looks like below,
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2981888&hl=

If you want side print, then better resolve to keycool's side lasered white PBT.

hmm? durable in terms of?
in my case, i've tried filco majestouch 2 and my ducky shine 2. filco was a year older, and i prefer my ducky's type feel, probably newer and spring not so worn out yet? both also blue switch.
if u r talking about the sturdiness of the case n built, to be honest, i can't tell the difference...either there's no difference or the difference is negligible.
*
He mean the durability for the stock keycaps.

ahh...if stock keycaps, if i recall correctly, it's thicker than ducky's. probably due to ducky using backlit-able plastic built?
*
Filco's stock keycaps are reputable for the smooth coating.

Just verified with Plum's maker. Indeed the Plum96 wireless version's spacebar is still incompatible with other spacebar out there. If you are adventurous, may be one day you can drill your own holes on the PCB and adjust the stabiliser spacing yourself.

For the wired version, it is fully compatible, but lack of backlit and wireless (though it is quite cheap and using Costar style stabiliser).

couldn't agree more biggrin.gif
but ayam a bit sad that a.87 board's led is not inverted sad.gif hence normal costar stabs can't be used here if there's LED there
*
You can always reverse mount the stabiliser also, not?

Just realised that Leopold do have a Costar made TKL (aka CM QFR clone) at a quite cheap price.

Does anyone know where can get low profile PBT keycaps that can fit for a regular MechaKeyboard like rosewill?

I measured my keycap which is around 1.18cm. (11.8mm)
Is there any keycap which is lowered like laptop keycaps?
Would this affect the tactile experience?
*
Low profile keycaps sucks big core, trust me.
