how about keycool vs f104? / ONI and poker?
*
rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

F104 is a 104 layout.
ONI is a TKL
Poker is a 60%

In terms of sturdiness, that three should be the same.
All comes from Vortex. laugh.gif

I've never tested keycool 108/104
However I will say F104 is the best bang for the bucks 104 (with led mod-able)

It wasn't that long ago that I started with BWU when a friend sell me his brand new BWU for rm300 (how to resist that price?) and then upgrade, upgrade and upgrade and I'm now using a HHKB as a daily keyboard. What's scary to me is that all these happened in a 3 months instead of 'dulu dulu' years! This hobby is addictive!

And I have a few keycaps on the way.. Sigh..
*
Just 3 months and you got urself a hhkb. rclxms.gif

if want LED, get a mod ready ones unless u really really like modding.
i bought the f104 mainly because of the free set of doubleshot pbt keycaps and it's led moddable tongue.gif
but no time to mod it, mainly because i don't want to have 2 black full size keyboard at home, and brown switch doesn't really appeal me after i've tried mx clears >.<
in the end have to sell it off to other ppl tongue.gif
wah...u hardcore much! 3 months upgrade to top tier brand from gimnick brand...haha!
*
do it like me.
take out all the switches and replace with mx clear laugh.gif

custom kb gurus, apparently there's 2 type of metal plates being offered in sprit's custom.

one is dura alu metal (not sure if the term's correct) 1.6-2.0mm thick
and another is 4.0mm thick.

which one would u recommend and why?
state the pros n cons of each thickness if u can.

PS: what about polyacrylic plates which is 5.0mm thick and polycarbon plate which is 1.6mm thick?
*
first time i see plate over 1.6mm thickness.
thats something new.
just go for the advise by sprit maybe?
Alu + PC hmm.gif
Weird combination.

plus i am not used to 60% tbh.

i think the problem with ur duck mini is because in malaysia here majority of the mkb community ppl's interest on custom haven't reach ur standard yet.
while GH have good community numbers of high level poisoned ppl, when they see have to ship from international they also not so keen d sad.gif

Year end coming soon.

True story lol.
Not so like the premium hammer case design, i prefer the slim tex design. And it is cost friendly a little biggrin.gif .
If wanna save more, perhaps will try to design one on my own during semester break  doh.gif .
*
you like it because it cheap ? laugh.gif

designing your cost even more than market price.
consider your own effort and time.
then cnc sampling
anodizing samplig
not sometimes can get perfect in 1 time.
imagine all those cost they bear before starting gb and collect money.
