I have two adsl modems at the moment. One is Kasda which was supplied by Telekom, and one is an Aztech.
On the Aztech, I lag really bad, mainly because I don't know how to configure the settings, such as port forwarding.
On the other hand, on the Kasda it lags as wells, but not as bad. Mainly about 800 ping. Bare in mind on the Aztech it's about 2000 ping.
So which adsl modem(s) are you using to get around the 400 ping range?
Thanks in advance.

it also depends on the peak time of the server and population of the server

Getting Started

Linksys and/or Netgear.
I just feel Aztech has no quality whatsoever. Software interface, hardware build, manual, support - they are all just horrid. My Netgear has been working for me since 2002, thank God.
The only problem with Netgear, and possibly Linksys, is that they seem to lack the tolerance for line quality. So if your wiring is sub-par these modems will drop the DSL signal. Aztech is able to suck it up and appear to receive the packets, but it's still slow.
