IMO your card is so low end, it's hardly worth the time and hassle to OC it.
artifacts are not necessarily due to defect, you may have just pushed your card over the limits.  i use ATItools myself. what's nice about ATItool is that you can set the utility to detect 3D mode and start OCed mode only when needed. my stock speed is 398:486 - OCed speed (when i game) 591:560.  |
