Dear all sifu, need your advice again here.
My S&P is under joint names, while bank loan is single name. Both me and my partner would like to withdraw EPF for the rest of the down payment.
Will there be any problems? Thanks!

"My S&P is under joint names, while bank loan is single name." - if two persons not related can do this? if yes, which bank?

Bro Skyvi, can wish for that only lo.
Breakdown:
Down payment: 10% (A)
Booking fee: RM20K (B)
EPF A/C 2: RMxK ©

On SPA signing day, SPS will calculate:
A - B - C = D
We will need to issue a cheque for the amount in D. Thereafter, we go and apply from EPF with SPA to withdraw C.
Once C is paid to you, you remit C to SPS.

Because, EPF A/C 2 can only be withdrawn if you submit the valid SPA. I am sure, there will be a grace period for you to settle the C.
Also, if you want to fully utilise the C, then you need to bring the latest EPF statement. Should you just want to withdraw partial of C - then, the D will vary accordingly.
