Topglove decrease in share price because of its latest quarter report, i suggest u to have to look on it.

My opinion is topglove is excel and leader in rubber glove, but US and Europe is slowly shifting to Nitrile glove for the past 3 years, and yet topglove only increase/shift some of its production line from rubber glove to nitrile glove. The revenue geographical in Topglove latest annual report is a clear indication they are losing out in US and Europe, due to the reason i stated above.

Meanwhile, the management is going upstream which is rubber plantation, Topglove is a glove maker but not a plantation company, many analysts out there state a negative view on the venture on rubber plantation as the latex extraction from rubber tree will be available after 5 years.

That's all i can summarize for now, for your information i view brighter side on Hartalega among all the glove maker.

I did browse through the report, it stated CEO had secure RM200mil contract, another RM600mil coming soon.

It took me one year to observe Hartalega before i bought in, missed the bonus issue boat and watch it fly from 5+ to 7+

Many IB reports covering glove sector, u may have a look on it, btw Hartalega PE is at a high side (PE20x).

Consumer switching to Nitrile glove mainly because of allegic to rubber glove and its price
