Remove sugar subsidies - health conscious, diabetes on the rise.

Remove petrol subsidies - reduce CO2 foot print, go green, reduce green house gas, a better Malaysia.

Increase electricity tariffs - reduce CO2 foot print, go green, reduce green house gas

biggrin.gif Apa macam pun boleh cakap one...

QUOTE(cherroy @ Oct 27 2013, 05:11 PM)
Since there is stamp duty, may mean either one will be imposed.
If not, it is like double taxation already.

Just like property got stamp duty, so no GST.
So we need to wait for the clarification on details of GST.
*
stamp duty is 0.1%
GST is 6%

which one is more good to count? Hahaha

If that is the case, these subsidies should have been removed decades ago. Why do it only now.
Its like telling everybody, petrol here is cheaper than in Thailand. If u ask them to compare it with Brunei, they just run and hide.
