 Power steering fluid leaking, a lot.

When driving no leak, few seconds after i stopped my car and off the engine only it leaks. Quite a lot. Now got sound when make turning.

Possible where leaking? i cannot jack up my car, cannot see, i think the leaking from near to pump there.

it could be the leakage from your PS fluid tank, or worst ur PS rack.

we cannot determine where the leak..unless u go to nearby workshop and have a check..might the ps tank or hoses...could be rack..

went to check d, need to changed pump. Today sunday they cannot get spare parts so they just helped to add some fluid and tomorrow only repair. On the way back, brake suddenly malfunction, need to change the master pump and cover. tomorrow no car use. sad.gif

It's very rare for PS fluid to leak. How old is your car?

mine also leak.

year 08 accord steering fuel pump leak.

change its rubbers for around 250 and done smile.gif

Same case with mine bro, the symptom is when i didn't drive my accord 08 for 5-7 days and will see some PSF fluid on the floor, but if i drive it daily no sign at all so never bother it, till now i haven't repair it yet biggrin.gif

repair it bro.


cause i took the same way as u and now i regret.

now the "housing" has burnt up abit , and its too late to fix it , now its causing some irritating sound when accelerating. VERY IRRITATING . Trust me bro, fix it up tmr.

i get back my car. changed PS TG hose, just now i check still leaking vmad.gif
i got cheated? they changed the part that not suppose to be?
Yesterday told me change P/S pump, morning called said hose only pump is ok. now still leaking.
i don't want go back to that workshop again! what is the possible problem?

try to look at ur engine , nearby the timing belt , is there any oil being leaked out?


mostly is the pump house`s rubber worn out already , just need to replace it.


very common problem for 08 accord and also stream.

Noted. will get it done next week, thanks for the remind and appreciate it. It never happen on my previous stream 2.0 even it clocks 200K KM maybe due to imported from Japan biggrin.gif
