azimlord, if it was modded, i would gladly buy one... but since its a prize from something, it is definately not modded... plus i dont know where to go to mod the ps2... (most probably sungei wang plaza or lowyat can do, but i dont know...

my ps2 toasted years ago, and recently i kinda get the emulator to play back all the games i once played, and actually imho it looks better on a PC, and a lot of tweak making it looks better than playing it on a PS2 itself, especially the wide screen hack, just my 2 cents. But since urs is a award and unused, keep it i bet console collector will bid for a farely good price (probably in another 10-15 years time when PS2 is indeed rare)

it's actually not illegal to mod, but it's illegal to pirate.

mod makes the system region free and removes any restriction to read any games.

i know people who mod just to play games from different regions.
