Anybody know where i can find smartcard reader software which I can view the content of the smartcard..

i have a dell usb smartcard reader keyboard. iMean is how to use the smartcard reader are there any sofware?

FYI smartcards are a generic term. there are memory cards, MPU/CPU cards and contactless cards. If you want to read them then your OS should have SDK installed, the driver files and the software (web banking, PKI, etc) ment for that particular smartcard's usage (windows XP can read smart card by default).

If, on the other hand, you want to see the digital signatures on the card (for fun?) you need to have the transport keys.

ur smart card means ur Identity card izzit?

If you just wanna see the general details, u dont have to get any smart card reader.. You just have to find any astro decorder "if you have one at home" insert it to the second slot and press 800 on ur remote.. wait till there are some options for u to choose. Just select "MyKad reader" or something like that.

But of cos, you'll need a dual-slot astro decorder.. not the old one smile.gif

I'm not sure what kind of smartcard the thread starter wanted to read, but if it is MyKad that he's talking about, just go get a MyKad reader that's available everywhere, I believe it is shipped with the software also.
